Our main activity is bulls and heifers fattening.
On our farms we are fattening cattle from 200-550 kg Simmental, Limousin, Charolais and Belgian Blue using the food that we produce in our own crop production on approximately 1000 ha of arable land.
Our products are heifers weighing 300-350 kg and bulls for slaughter weighing of 500-600 kg.
We produce for the domestic market where we sell approximately 50% of production. Our domestic customers are the biggest meat industries in Croatia: PIK d.d., Danica MI and Vajda d.d.
The second half of the successful production is exported to the European Union and the Mediterranean part of Africa and Asia.
The final year products are 10.000 bulls and 5.000 heifers.

Širjan d.o.o. is a family business established in 1991.
The company is primarly engaged in agricultural production (livestock, agriculture, and transport & trade). The company is continuing a long tradition of high-head of cattle in livestock production. In the 70s and 80s Širjan company won several awards.
After the founding of the 1991. we begun to deal only with fattening cattle and today we are one of the largest manufacturers of fattened beef cattle in the Republic of Croatia with an annual production of more than 10 000 pieces.
We operate in 2 locations:
a) Kusijevec, Kusijevec farm, 15 km from city of Križevci, 15 km from the highway Varaždin-Zagreb
b) Ivanić Grad, Šarampov farm, 1 km from the highway Zagreb-Lipovac
